Free JR (John Robinson) Drum Clinic

I don't know how this thing can really be free since the guy obviously does not play for free... but for those in the Vancouver and/or Seattle area (3 hour drive), it might be worth it to check this out...

Wow, that's cool. JR doesn't do clinics very often at all. It was great seeing him play live a few months back. GROOVE AND POCKET so deep, we all fell in!

Just got back and it was much better than I ever expected. I thought, man... three hours of groove and I'm gonna fall asleep, but it was very entertaining and he's a great guy! Played along to a lot of tracks (many grammy winners and hits), played a few songs for us (prerecorded to listen to), told some great stories and preached the groove like he knows how to!

I was *THIS CLOSE* to going up and playing some double drums with him too but he picked the guy sitting right next to me! Heheh. Would have been fun!

Anyways, if JR happens to be in your town - check him out!!!
